Wilder, a national real estate development, management, and leasing firm, today announced that it has engaged The WAS Group, a leading third-party outlet leasing specialist, to support the leasing efforts at Freeport Village Station Outlets in Freeport, Maine.

Freeport Village Station Outlets is a premier retail center located in the heart of Freeport Main Street. It features a 500-space parking garage and an array of top factory and outlet retail names, such as L.L. Bean Outlet, Coach Factory, Brooks Brothers Factory Store, Talbots Outlet, Skechers Outlet, Oakley Vault, Sunglass Hut, and more.

Freeport Downtown is an appealing shopping destination, thanks to the Freeport Village Station Outlets and the abundance of premium brands located within a short walking distance. The concentration of popular outlet and factory brands enhances Freeport’s reputation as a prime outlet destination. Notable brands include Polo Ralph Lauren, Dooney & Bourke, The North Face, Patagonia, Fjäll Räven, Vineyard Vines, Orvis, Banana Republic, J. Crew, Gap, Loft, Levi’s, American Eagle, Aerie, Sperry, Under Armour, Jockey, as well as specialty shops like Mexicali Blues: Freeport and Sea Bags, among others.

Wilder assumed management and leasing responsibilities for Freeport Village Station Outlets in March 2024. Since then, Wilder has concentrated on implementing significant property enhancements, fostering positive relationships with existing tenants, and developing an innovative merchandising and development strategy to usher the center into its next growth phase.

“We envision Freeport Village Station as a vibrant destination where people can stay a while, shop, and enjoy a bite to eat. It is essential to cultivate a modern mix of outlet tenants, food and beverage tenants, and activities that appeal to locals and visitors to bring this vision to life,” said Ryan Feinberg, Vice President of Leasing at Wilder. “We are excited to partner with the WAS Group to introduce additional outlet and factory store brands to Freeport to help us achieve this goal.”

Jeffrey Was, President of The WAS Group, said, “We are thrilled to join the leasing efforts at Freeport Village Station Outlets. The center has a long-term track record for strong sales and has a robust tenant roster. We look forward to assisting Wilder in further enhancing Freeport Village Station’s performance.”
